Firefly - Wash sticker
Wash
Who's flying this thing? Thanks for watching Firefly on Sundays at 10pm on Science Channel. Share this one proudly. It's from our friends at Science Channel.
Req: Check-in to Firefly during its airing on 8 May, 2011
"A little bit earlier"? Ok, I'm not sure if you're being serious here, trolling, or making an attempt at humor, but it looks like I need to reiterate some things I've said before:
1. This site isn't endorsed by or affiliated with GetGlue. I don't get any kind of early warning that stickers are going to be available on a certain day at a certain time.
2. I don't post a sticker until I've earned it. That way I can somewhat verify the requirements for getting it to pop, so everyone else who reads the blog doesn't have to try and muddle through the obfuscated requirements for the more obscure ones.
3. I try to post the sticker as soon as I earn it if I'm not on the road during check-in time. You can see that this one was posted at 8:08 Central Time, just under an hour before the show's air time started - this would give you a window of almost two hours to get the sticker earned.
4. I provide a Twitter feed, which you can follow @stickerfaq, that tweets within half an hour of when I make a new post here. The tweet for this post went out shortly after it was posted.
5. Even if I can't get the sticker posted immediately, I provide a reminder calendar that has the show times posted in Central time, located in the sidebar at the right. Everyone has access to this calendar and can use it to help plan their tv- and movie-watching, and check-in accordingly.
And one from a GetGlue side of things: 6. The Firefly sticker set has been rolling out for the last seven-plus weeks, so it's not like it was any secret that this sticker was going to be coming up in the near future.
So to sum up, I provide everything I can for the readers of this blog. If you were "so looking forward to this sticker", you had more than enough fair warning to check-in. If you missed it, that's a bummer, but don't act like I was the one that let you down.
How about you try posting these a little earlier? I was so looking forward to this sticker....
