Note: Apparently the "Boss" sticker for Boardwalk Empire isn't live yet or it will be awarded at some later point? We'd better hear something from GetGlue on this quick, or there are going to be a lot of users up in arms. According to GetGlue's Twitter feed, "Boss is a very special sticker so it is taking us a little extra time to award it." Sounds like either the script someone wrote to check for the awarding broke or they're going to have to check the records manually. It may be a while before you see the Boss sticker awarded to your account if you rightfully earned it.

Ok, so if I'm reading this right, if you check-in on Sunday you're definitely going to get a Finale sticker (pictured below on the right). If you've been keeping your buzz going with the weekly stickers you're going to get the "Fried to the Hat" sticker in addition to the "The Boss" sticker (below on the left).

The part about "and select fans who have only missed a few of the episode stickers will be awarded their missing ones!" had me scratching my head. How many are they going to let you recover if you were out more than one? The line later in the blog makes it sound like they're going to flat out award everyone who's missing some of them the full set so long as they have at least one of the stickers from the series; they just won't get The Boss if they haven't been keeping up. I guess this is a bonus for those who got shafted due to being a few minutes late on a check-in or got hosed by a bug in the system. For anyone who flat-out forgot a check-in, you just got a reprieve on your sticker count. If you didn't at least get Lit back during the premiere, well, sorry; it appears you're still out of luck.

(I just hope there aren't any bugs in the system for the awarding of The Boss *fingers crossed*)

Sticker Reminders for the Halloween weekend

The end of October cometh; with a nip in the air and ghouls and ghosts running around on Sunday night you're bound to be busy passing out the treats to the little monsters or freaking out the mundanes as you head for a party in full costume. No Dexter sticker last night...

While there apparently was no sticker award for the Dexter check-in last night, there definitely were goodies in the waiting for fans of Boardwalk Empire and Mad Men! Last night marked the season finale of Mad Men and the release of the last sticker for this season. Hopefully you remembered to check-in, otherwise you missed it.  Also of note was the release of the Spifflicated sticker for Boardwalk Empire, which was only available to those who had been checking-in to it from the start. Stick with the check-ins to Boardwalk Empire and you too may end up "Fried to the Hat"!

A look at the calendar marks three check-ins you don't want to miss tonight!  The finale of Mad Men promises to finish the season up with style and will net you an exclusive sticker if you check in. Also on tap are Dexter, which may or may not have a sticker for this episode, and Boardwalk Empire, which should net you the Spifflicated sticker for checking in if you've been keeping up with the weekly check-ins.

Also worth noting, if you haven't earned your Hawaii International Film Festival and Wallander II stickers, be sure to check in to both of them. The HIFF will be running until the 24th so you still have time to get that one, but this is the last weekend for Wallander.  Don't miss out!

Hmmm... that sounds like it could be the name for a band.  "Deb and Scrooched"... it kinda rolls off the tongue, doesn't it?  In all seriousness though, those are the latest stickers for Dexter (oooh - the first mystery sticker!) and Boardwalk Empire (if you've been keeping up with it).  Hope you remembered to check in, because that's all you had to do to earn both of them - no phrases needed!  I'll get them added to the FAQ as soon as possible.

Also, don't forget the premiere of God In America tomorrow night.  The sticker should be popping up in your time zone as soon as midnight rolls around, so don't forget to check in to it sometime after 12:00 AM!
