Sprucing up the place...

As you have probably noticed, I decided it's long past time that I added a banner image at the top of the page. The page looked so... 1999-MySpace-GeoCities-esque with just the text at the top. Thoughts?

    I don't know... I kinda liked the simple text at the top. This seems a bit too "new" for me. But good work with the background and lettering.

    Don't worry - I'm not going to be going all "Web 2.0" on it. I looked into changing the color scheme of the blog to match the red in the banner but red text on a gray background just doesn't work all that well. The banner at the top is pretty much the limit of what I'm going to be doing for now. :D

    AAHH! The stickers look nice but the lettering is a little to red and big for me.

    Looking at it now I would tend to agree that the brightness of the red was a little over the top. I've toned it down a bit.
