The number of stickers that went live today was massive and there were several teasers for upcoming show premieres as well.
Before we get to the sticker list, it bears noting that it appears that GetGlue has implemented a new policy for earning the fandom stickers. From what we can tell, if you have not previously checked-in to a topic then five consecutive check-ins in the same day will not earn you the fandom sticker, even if the check-ins are valid ones that are separated by at least fifteen minutes. If you have checked-in to an item that has a fandom sticker even once before the sticker goes live then the next four check-ins can be in the same day and you will earn the sticker. I'm assuming that this is to keep sticker-hunters from doing a five-and-out on topics and then never checking-in to them again. Since fandom stickers will be around for a longer period of time than the show-day and premiere stickers this doesn't present that much of a problem; it'll just take a bit longer to get the fandom stickers for your collection.

ReplyDeleteI've had 12 check ins with The Cleveland Show and I expected to get the sticker after the last check in (since I've gone past 5 check ins), it didn't come up. Could this be another bug issue?

Terri, I'm having the same issue with the American Dad sticker. At this point, I've checked in 12 times, and over a few days, but still no sticker!
ReplyDelete@MILE I checked in to Jersey Shore and commented with the phrase "Party's Here!" and got the sticker. @phibER optIKs I would assume you'll need to check in to Californication, Episodes, and Shameless possibly on the premiere night to earn the Brace yourself sticker.

- Check-in live into 5 or more episodes to become a Season Fan
- Check-in live to 10 or more episodes to become a Season Superfan
These are probably for Shameless and Episodes. Since, there is a premiere sticker and two additional stickers I would assume to be these new live fan/superfan.
The 'Lights Out Coming Soon' sticker is also live. :)
