Once back to the office I cut the envelope open, dumped the contents out on my desk, and started sorting. Here's what I received:
Look familiar? Yeah, it looked familiar to me, too. Have a look at last month's sticker shipment:
So the grand total of new stickers in this month's shipment is ONE - Revision3. All the rest were the same ones I received back in December. Paint me a little disillusioned. Also a bit off-putting is the re-inclusion of the three glue-heart stickers. Can you say "filler"? Oh well, there's always next month. Maybe I'll get lucky and it'll have TWO new stickers in it...

ReplyDeleteLots of repeats for me with my last shipment too. The only ones that weren't from getglue accomplishments (like fan, lone wolf, etc) were 2 dexter stickers i'd gotten already in previous shipments. I was disappointed because I was looking forward to seeing more of those third-party ones in real life!

ReplyDeleteThe whole sticker thing is a big disappointment. You don't get the full 20 stickers they promise and what they do send is what you already have. I'm going to start making my own stickers and printing them off. I modified their template and will use that to make the stickers I want.

I'm somewhat disappointed in what I've been sent, compared to what I've earnt...
I got duplicates too. I contacted @GetGlue on Twitter and they said there was a problem with the last set of shipments.

ReplyDeleteAt least yours came. I requested some almost two months ago now and nada. And I don't see the point in requesting again, as they often suggest when you don't get a shipment. Why continue to participate in a broken system?
ReplyDelete@Matthew - Heh, the sad thing is that my Addon Adhesive sticker was earned with Firefox. Something tells me that they only made one type of sticker for that one and everyone got an IE sticker regardless.

I got some this week - got five of the original six True Blood - they don't even show the finale DayWalker in the list of TB stickers on glue's site - so in addition to that one, I still need fangbanger - all the rest were glue blah stickers... placed another order

ReplyDeleteI've been ready to request my stickers for a while but have been waiting a bit for some really worthwhile stickers. Since it was such an agrivating experience to get the Being Human sticker I decided to request as soon I got it. Then I couldn't find the option to request certain stickers >:( Unless I wasn't looking hard enough they got rid of it. Grrr...

ReplyDeleteI just got my 2nd shipment the other day. I got a lot of new ones and a few old ones and i think i have at least 8 of those glue hearts so far.
ReplyDeleteSaturday the 22nd I received my second grouping of stickers in the mail. Only 3 different stickers than my first grouping. Then yesterday 24th, I received a third shipment that had all different stickers. Including Ghosthunter and Walking Dead stickers. No repeats.
ReplyDeleteis anyone else disappointed with the size and quality of the stikers? this whole time when ive been unlocking stickers on getglue and seeing the pic online i thought wow, thats going to look great in person. i got my first batch in the mail and all i can say is wtf. fail.
