While these are live, they appear to be time-zone locked, so if it's not past midnight on the 12th in your time zone don't bother checking in yet. Also, there are two pages for Skyline - make sure you're checking-in to the right one by using the link above.
great, thanks you i've got these two stickers !
ReplyDeletecan you tell me which time is called "box office" for the next two's ?
Sorry - I haven't the foggiest as to the requirements for the other two yet. As soon as people start earning them and I figure out what you need to do, I'll post it!
ReplyDeletethx, i was just asking if there were older "box office"... don't know how it works in the US. COunting the tickets the first week or something like taht to declare it's in the box office.
ReplyDeleteIn the US they generally report the box office take for a movie after the opening weekend. Typically they tally up the nation-wide ticket sales and rank all the movies currently in theaters in order of the money they brought in. Now that I think about it, it's entirely possible that the Box Office stickers for both may not go live until after the weekend.
ReplyDeleteI've seen the "box office" stickers for both of these on my iPhone app. If you use your trick by going to your sticker page & replace the text in the link with "unstoppable_box_office" or "skyline_box_office" you can see the stickers. Unfortunately, you won't get any of the text that goes with it, so I have no idea what the stickers are for or about. Still, they're there. There are also new stickers for Sarah Palin's Alaska Premiere, Just for the Halibut (another Sarah Palin sticker bec it's the name of next week's episode), Tina Fey Mark Twain Prize, & LENNONYC. I don't know if we missed Sarah Palin's premiere or not, but it seems like it just popped up today.
ReplyDelete@ tech paradox : thx for the info
ReplyDelete@ xiape : i know the sticker's trick ;-)
as i can see on the page of Sarah palin goes alaska, it's on air at sunday's evening... maybe we've to wait sunday to get the sticker.
for lennonyc, it seems to be a part of "america masters" another new sticker too.
the mark twain prize with Tina Fey seems to be aired on Nov. 14 @ 9.00 pm ET.
ReplyDeleteonce again it seems that i'll be sleeping very late this sunday (living in Belgium... ;-)
for lennonyc, it's on PBS too but Monday, Nov. 22 @ 9pm ET.
@xiape - I've got images of the box office stickers over in the not yet released gallery, so we know they're at least live on GetGlue's image servers. The big question is when they'll actually let us earn them. What's the actual name of the stickers in the app for the Tina Fey one and the Lennon one?
ReplyDeleteThose should have been the actual names for the Tina Fey & Lennon ones. I know for a fact the Lennon one was: LENNONYC. Exactly like that, all caps. I'll check the Tina Fey sticker & get back to you.
ReplyDeleteHere are the links, from my account, of course:

Hope that helps. :-) Thankfully, our friend on the thread already gave is the dates for Tina Fey & LENNONYC, so now we just need to figure out what makes these box office stickers tick.
I'm very curious as to how the Box Office stickers work. There has to be a way....
